Urangan is a thriving part of Hervey Bay. This is the end of the Bay with the most features.
The Urangan Pier is only 5 minute walk from "Poinciana Penthouse Villa's". Great fishing opportunities all year round on the pier, with common catches of trevally, bream, mackeral, whiting and flathead. Fish cleaning facilities are also available.
Urangan Pier Precient-has bbq facilities, takeaway stores, mini supermarket, tackle and discount variety as well. The Sportsman's Club provides entertainment from dancing, Pool & dart competitions, live entertainment, bingo, indoor bowls to name a few.
 
Dayman Park-is a great place for all the family. Playgrounds, beach, bbq facilites, the Aquarium is also situated at the beach entrance of the park. The bikeway that extends throughout Hervey Bay also runs through Dayman Park around to the Mariner.
 
The Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens in situated in Elizabeth Street, Urangan. Again, well within walking distance from "Poinciana Penthouse Villa's". The Botanic Garden's also has an Orchid House and Community centre within it's acres of fantastic gardens.
